Siikajoki Village Festival

All week long, all kinds of nice things are available for the whole family to spend the summer. There is a children's event, music playing in the assisted living facilities, dances, evening entertainment in the villages, a cemetery tour and a play & sports event.

On Thursday, Eino Leino's day is traditionally celebrated in Komppalinna and on Friday we rock in Kreivinsaari.

The highlight of the week is naturally the event starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Ruukki's central market, where, in addition to vendors, there will be international food culture, quizzes, prize distribution and the announcement of Patruuna of the year 2023. At 2 pm the popular Strongest Man competition starts. At the end of the evening traditional Finnish dance at the Ruokolahti dance hall.
