Raahe Christmas Season Opening

Welcome to join us in celebrating the opening of the Christmas season at Härkätori on Saturday, November 22, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM with a program for the whole family!

Stage Programme
– Greeting from the city
– Tarja Ollanketo, 1st Vice Chair of the City Council
– Dance performance by Funky Hall Sodap
– Youth choir of the parish
– Pekka Heino, acoustic performance
– An artist known from the Raskasta Joulua ensemble and Brother Firetribe performs Christmas-themed songs
– Oulu Star Circus

Other programme at Härkätori
– Santa Claus himself from Korvatunturi will be present
– Oulu Star Circus performs among the audience
– Mulled wine served at the Raahe parish tent, and HuliVili’s donkeys delight the crowd
– Extended opening hours in the city centre shops

A fireworks display will conclude the event, launched from Independence Park.

During the Christmas Opening, the Härkätori café as well as the Wanha Apteekkari pop-up Christmas café will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kirkkokatu 13 (entrance on the church side).

On the same day as the Raahe Christmas Opening, the Praati Christmas Market will be held from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The event is organized by the City of Raahe and Vibrant City Centre Raahe Association.
