The buildings housing the Ojala Museum used to be the Ojala farm, with two old residential buildings and a cowhouse. The main building dates back to the late 19th century.
Inside the buildings in the verdant courtyard of the old Ojala farm, you can see things like early 20th-century agricultural tools and an interesting collection of coffee cups. Before its conversion into a museum, the Ojala farm served as a shelter for the sick and the elderly as well as a municipal home for the elderly. In the summer, the museum area hosts the Pattijoki Days with diverse programme.
