The longest wall in Finland earned its title in the early 2000s when a group of friends from Raahe was looking for suitable skateboarding spots.

The wall was created over the years as the buildings behind it were patched up. The main building is protected by the Finnish Heritage Agency, and the outbuildings are protected by a regional plan. They cannot be demolished or altered from the outside.
